Join us on 9th November for the return of our annual sweatfest raising funds for the Natalie Kate Moss Trust.

We set ourselves the target of raising £5K this year for the NMKT through a series of events and individual challenges which Elements members have been taking part in throughout 2024. We are now aiming to get over that 10k line with our biggest event of the year: a huge, HYROX-inspired workout.

Combining components from both HYROX and Element Fitness programming, this event will challenge and test your running and functional fitness.

The workout will consist of running intervals + functional fitness movements and will simulate a HYROX event.  Whether you are practising for an upcoming race, want to test your fitness or simply want to know what all the HYROX hype is, why not sign up and help us raise vital funds for charity in the process.

The challenge will be spilt into three waves. Once you have registered for your time slot please DONATE via our Justgiving link below.

We’re are asking for a minimum donation of £15 per person, however if you would like to donate more, then all money is gratefully received!

100% of the funds raised from the event will go straight to the NKMT.

Each station will prepare you for HYROX

  • Practise your SkiErg skills which features first in the HYROX race.

  • Challenge your leg + grip strength at a high heart rate.

  • Upper body pulling endurance will support your sled pulling skills in an actual HYROX race.

  • Burpees are a large portion of a HYROX race, building burpee capacity is essential.

  • Rowing in the second Erg is the HYROX race. Practasing your technique and pacing for the big day is essential.

  • Building back and grip strength will help with sled pulling and farmers carry.

  • Harder than sandbag lunges (which form part of a HYROX event)! A great way to challenge your legs and grip strength.

  • Heavier than wall balls ! This will build squat to press power + endurance.

NB: the order of each station will vary per group.

EACH RUN + STATION WILL HAVE A TIME CAP.

EACH STATION IS SCALABLE SO YOU CAN WORK TO YOUR OWN LEVEL.

EACH PARTICIPANT WILL BE WORKING INDIVIDUALLY IN A GROUP OF FOUR IN EACH STATION.

  • Nope! Everyone is welcome to join the event - we look forward to welcoming new faces to the gym and raising vital funds for the NKMT. So whether you're looking for a HYROX simulation style workout to prep for the next race or are dipping your toe into HYROX style training this event is for you!

  • We're passionate about functional fitness and training for longevity. Our classes are split into different 'Elements' to ensure a well rounded and holistic approach to training.

    EARTH - Strength Training

    WATER - Endurance training

    AIR - Cardiovascular training

    FIRE - HIIT training

    AETHER - Active Recovery (Yoga + Pilates)

  • Hyrox is a global fitness race that combines running and functional fitness stations in an indoor setting. The race is designed to be accessible to everyone, regardless of fitness level.

  • The Natalie Kate Moss Trust was set up in 2012 by the Moss family following the sudden death of Natalie at the age of 26 after an unexpected Brain Haemorrhage. Their mission is to empower you to understand how to prevent lifestyle related brain haemorrhages from occurring, whilst generating funds to support ground breaking research to treat them when they do.

    By joining forces with Manchester University,  NKMT has supported groundbreaking research into Stroke at the University whose vision is to improve outcome after a brain haemorrhages.

    100% of the money raised through this event will be donated to the NKMT.

  • As an official Hyrox Training gym, we offer two HYROX classes on our schedule every week.

    These sessions are for anyone currently training for a HYROX or similar event but also for anyone who would like to dip their toe in, test & improve their overall fitness, and see if competing in a functional fitness event might be for them.

    Join us every MONDAY + WEDNESDAY at 19:15 for a sweaty HYROX-influenced session. and throughout the week for Element Fitness programming.
