Our monthly masterclasses focus on key exercises, kit, and movement patterns found in our weekly element classes.

Whether you’re a newbie looking to learn the ropes, or a workout veteran who’s looking to fine tune and enhance your technique, our fundamental masterclasses are here to support and enhance your training so you can feel confident and competent during your workouts. All of these in-depth sessions are free for unlimited members and included in credit-based memberships.

In this session we break down the technical aspects of row erg, ski erg, and air bike training. This session aims to give participants the tools to become more efficient and effective while using the cardio equipment we encounter regularly in our Air and other conditioning sessions. We will ensure all participants are able to set up each machine correctly and master their movement to get the most out of every workout.

AIR: erg workshop

WATER/FIRE: mixed modality training workshop

In this session we break down how to approach workouts that combine machines, weightlifting, and bodyweight movements. How to strategise, scale, and modify workouts to ensure the stimulus of the workout is being obtained. This session will give participants the information to make good decisions when tackling high intensity intervals as well as longer time domain workouts.

In this 90-minute session we break down the barbell compound lifts that we typically encounter in the weekly Earth classes. This session aims to build participants’ confidence and competence in the lifts while learning how to get the best bang for their buck when walking into class; everyone will walk away from this session with practical tips on how to improve their technique and see real progress in their lifting. We will focus on movements such as deadlifts, cleans, squats, overhead press, and bench press.

EARTH: barbell workshop

EARTH: bodyweight workshop

In this 90-minute session we break down the bodyweight movements that we typically encounter in the weekly Earth classes. This session aims to build the necessary body awareness and learn sound strategies to effectively scale and modify movements to ensure progress is being made. In this practical session we will focus on movements such as pull ups, push ups, dips, squats, lunges, and core training, with take-away tips and cues to refine and advance in these movements.

our benchmark sessions are a way to track your progress

Every quarter we’ll be running our benchmark sessions for Element Fitness members, so you can keep track of your progress throughout the year. We’ll throw some shapes in the gym and then head to a local hotspot to celebrate how for you’ve come with your awesome Element Fitness community!
